For the first time in many years Ibiza finds itself without its main attraction, the clubs. But all is not lost, in fact quite the opposite.\u00a0 This year has been the summer of gastronomy.\u00a0 With the Ibiza Restaurant scene across the White Isle busier than ever, many are already fully booked for August. And although this isn&#8217;t such a great situation for the more disorganised of us, it is great to see so many of Ibiza\u2019s wonderful restaurants thriving.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With a wealth of great options out there, here are our standout culinary choices for this season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Jul\u2019s.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As you take your first steps into <a href=\"http:\/\/julsibiza.com\/\">Jul\u2019s<\/a> the first thing you will notice is the breathtaking decor, it\u2019s soft amber ambient lighting offsets chic suede and earthy textures to create the perfect setting for its eclectic and magical food .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The cuisine is a journey from Spain to Greece, something easier to do on a plate than in the air at the moment it would seem.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The menu centres around organic, locally sourced products and every dish is about the love of food and great ingredients.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don&#8217;t miss the open fire Charcoal Grilled Meats and the celebrated Lobster and Butternut Squash Risotto.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Start your evening with the intriguingly named \u201cDance of the Bad Angels\u201d cocktail, a heady mix of Tequila, Mezcal, Cucumber and Chilli, (we can\u2019t take any responsibility for any Bad Angel dancing that may follow) and finish your evening with the perfectly named desert, Emotion Chocolate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Casa Jondal<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Taking over from the popular Es Savina on stunning Cala Jondal is the new chiringuito on the block, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casajondal.es\/\">Casa Jondal<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chef Rafa Zafra has returned the building back to its Ibicenco roots, a white washed finca sitting on the beach, where beautiful touches of natural, mismatched, wooden furniture and raw, stripped back fabrics, set the scene for a simple, fresh, utterly delicious seafood menu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After many years of the \u201cSuper Chiringuito\u201d with their Instagramable clients and menus it\u2019s refreshing to see a restaurant going back to Ibizas culinary roots&#8230;beautifully simple, fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There can be nothing better than licking your fingers clean from the Islands famous shellfish, whilst sitting by a beach, with the aroma of sun scorched pine trees drifting by. Dishes are available with 2 techniques, choose from Raw Ibicenco Prawn carpaccio or Grilled Red Ibicenco Prawns, both of which are delicious.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And don\u2019t worry there\u2019s plenty of Instagram opportunities, with Cala jondal as your backdrop you can\u2019t help but want to share Ibizas latest hidden gem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Alma<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Port Des Torrent has been overshadowed by San Antonio\u2019s famous sunset strip for the last few years. But if you like to enjoy your sunsets with a relaxed family vibe and a sprinkling of chilled music &amp; dining, then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.almabeachibiza.es\/\">Alma Beach<\/a> could be your new Sunset Spot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add its Oyster and Champagne menu, to the beautiful views out to Il<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">llots de Ponent and your Sunset Experience won\u2019t get any better.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the more energetic amongst us enjoy a Sunset SUP class or Sunrise Yoga session, feel free to order the sundowner of your choice whilst procrastinating about maybe joining them tomorrow.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Pecador<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pecadoribiza.com\/\">Pecador<\/a> in Spanish means sinful and if the new beachside restaurant from The W Hotel in Santa Eularia is anything to go by, then being bad never tasted so good.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chef Nandu Jubany\u2019s knowledge of popular recipes and a love for their culinary origins, injects the perfect balance of tradition with modern cuisine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The setting is a blend of straw and sun-bleached palm leaves with a beautiful twist of crisp, cream, cotton and wood.
