Despite the blue skies and temperate weather, Christmas in Ibiza always has a special sparkle to it. This year has seen a variety of winter markets and Christmas activities, many supporting charities across the Island. Read on to find out our recommendations for a Feliz Navidad Ibiza style.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Hub<\/b><\/a> in Santa Gertrudis will this Friday see the last in its series of Winter Markets, featuring artisan stalls from around the Island, with a Santas Grotto and live entertainment it’s the perfect place to get in the Christmas spirit. This week sees the <\/span>Natural Voices Ibiza Choir perform, plus a cup of Mulled wine is included with each ticket which cost just \u20ac5 and a percentage of the profits go to <\/span>Ibiza Food Bank<\/b><\/a>\u00a0 Click here to get your tickets<\/span><\/p>\n

Las Dalias<\/b><\/a> has always been the go-to-market on the Island and its Christmas version doesn\u2019t disappoint, with Artisan offerings from around the Island it\u2019s the perfect place to support local businesses and crafts. Open every weekend from 10am a percentage of profits goes to\u00a0 <\/span>Carritos Solidarios Marco Martin<\/b><\/a> who is helping the people affected by the current Covid Crisis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What better way to get in the festive mood than with a Christmas concert, this year Can Ventosa in Ibiza town is opening its doors to welcome people to its \u201c<\/span>Concerts de Nadal 2020<\/b>\u201d on the 19th and 20th of December. All proceeds go to <\/span>Ibiza Food Bank.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

To keep that Christmas spirit up, head to the Christmas market in Vara Del Rey. It’s chockablock full of stalls selling local crafts and Navidad nick-nacks, nestled under the twinkling Christmas lights. Enjoy a hot chocolate in one of the nearby cafes and drink in the festive atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

As many of you know this year has seen Ibiza badly hit by the covid crisis, fortunately there are lots of charities around the Island helping those hit hardest by it. One amazing initiative, supported by <\/span>Carritos Solidarios Marco Martin <\/b><\/a>and its crew of 300 volunteers is the \u201cNingun nino sin Juguetes en Eivissa\u201d (No child without toys in Ibiza) It aims to collect enough toys to give each child in Ibiza, whose families are without work, a toy to open at Christmas this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As in the rest of Spain, the main focus of a Spanish Christmas in Ibiza has always been the Three Kings on 6th January. Normally this is kicked off in style on the night of the 5th with the king’s arrival at multiple municipals across the Island and parades that feature the kings and their majestic crew throwing sweets to the crowd. Due to the large number of crowds that flock to these events, they will this year be virtual events with most being streamed live for kids to enjoy unless of course, you are lucky enough to live on the route in which case you can enjoy them from your balcony.<\/span><\/p>\n

With Ibiza restaurants allowed to have tables of\u00a0 6 inside and 10 outside, the fun is returning to eating out. Here are a few of our winter favourites;<\/span><\/p>\n
