Festival Medieval
On the second weekend of May Dalt Vila (Ibiza Old Town) turns into a Medieval village. A beautiful decorated market with lots of food stands with traditional, pirate and Arabic dressed sellers. With the performances & activities it’s a great festival to visit with the whole family. We recommend you go in the evening for the perfect atmosphere. Free entrance.
International Music Summit
The biggest electronic music event under the stars held at a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the iconic platform in Dalt Vila. Get your feet off the ground with the music of the biggest dj’s while you enjoy the incredible views of the ancient ‘Old Town’ and over the marina of Ibiza. I.M.S. Ibiza takes place at the last weekend of May. Tickets sold online.
June
Fiesta de San Joan
The 24th of June the little village up in the island’s norths celebrates the Patron Saint of San Juan (Sant Joan de Labritja). You can expect DJ’s and bands playing in the main square, tasty food from bbq’s and large bonfires. Fun for the whole family, but really gets going later on. Be warned; getting out is hard so bring your own transport. Free event.

Jazz festival
The first weekend of September Ibiza town turn into a vibrant jazz town. If you are a jazz lover you’ll be in cloud nine this weekend, with many national and international jazz performers. The event is mainly free, but for one bigger stage tickets costs 12 euros for the best performances.
August
Fiesta de St Ciriac
The 8th of August Ibiza celebrates the island’s patron saint, with an impressive firework show starting at midnight. Go to Marina Botafoch, book a front row table in a good restaurant or bring your picnic blanket to Talamanca Beach to enjoy the phenomenal setting with the fireworks and Dalt Vila as the backdrop. Free event.
October
Ibiza Light Festival
The second weekend of October Dalt Vila and the port of Ibiza become more magical thanks to this light festival. Let the kids explore to route through town. Make sure you definitely stop in front of the entrance of Dalt Vila as the light show here is by far the most impressive. Free entrance.
Gastronomic fair of Calamar San Carlos
The charming village San Carlos is never more alive then during this ‘squid fair’ on the last Sunday of October. From 11 till midnight there are concerts, kids activities, workshops and especially lots of delicious dishes, all made with, you guessed it, squid. Free event.
