Ibiza is known worldwide for its beautiful sunset and there are plenty of bars & restaurants where you can enjoy this wonder of nature. But if you’d like to find somewhere special to watch the sun go down while being surrounded by unspoiled nature – here are or suggested 5 sunset spots in Ibiza that are open to the public.

ES VEDRA

Located on the South West coast, on the outskirt of Cala D’Hort beach, there are few different vantage points perfect to watch the sun setting behind the iconic islet of Es Vedra.

BENIRRAS

This is the only spot in the North from where you can enjoy the beautiful Ibiza sunset. Benirras beach is beautiful every day of the week, but it’s famous for its Sunday Bongo session, that goes on until the sun goes down.

LAS PUERTAS DEL CIELO

Located near Santa Agnès Village. If you are looking for a peaceful sunset spot, a short walk from the restaurant takes you to a secluded area where you can enjoy a scenic sea view at the aptly named ‘doors to heaven’.

LAS SALINAS

There is nowhere else quite as unusual as Salinas for a sunset – watching the day disappear above the glistening salt flats until there’s no light behind the hills, is something difficult to replicate.

CALA LLENTIA

On the South West coast of Ibiza, you can find this less known spot where sits the wonderful piece of art “Time & Space” by Australian artist, Andrew Rogers. This is a beautiful place to have a picnic and watch the sun go down.
