Forget about the traditional Christmas markets, Ibiza has its own style! All around the island are popping up unique Christmas markets perfect to find artisan gifts, Ibiza-style souvenirs or Christmas decorations.

ICE-SKATING RINK

As we enter December Christmas is fast approaching. For both beginners and experienced skaters alike, gliding across the ice skating rink located in Ibiza town is surely one of the best ways to take a break away from the chaos of Christmas shopping and get into the festive spirit. Tickets will cost only 2 € and it lasts for 30 minutes. The ice-skating rink will be available from 30 November to 21 December.

MUSIC CONCERTS

This year, music has a special place too in the celebration. On Monday 17th of  December at 8 pm, the choir “Amics de La Música” will perform across the streets of the city departing from Vara De Rey and singing a beautiful repertoire. On Monday the 24 at 12 pm, Iván Domenech and Joan Barber will perform “micro concerts” in Vara de Rey.

DANCING

Parties aren’t over, this festive season hit the dance floor in the famous big clubs of the island – check our blog 2019 Christmas and New Year’s Eve Parties.

NEW YEAR’S DAY DIVE

A great way to start the new year, the ‘unofficial’ New Year’s Day tradition in Ibiza is a swim at iconic beach Las Salinas! For many years, residents and veteran tourists have flocked to the sunny shoreline to freshen up after a big night or prepare for the festivities ahead. Organised by Vino & Co, find out more here.
