Ibiza, like the rest of Spain, is generally super child-friendly, with restaurants often having a children’s section on the menu (or happy to do a children’s portion) and spacious terraces or gardens where kids can play.
While there are a few super posh restaurants you probably wouldn’t want to take your kids to, there are some places that rise to another level when it comes to keeping the kids happy while you enjoy the food. Here’s a list of our favourite child-friendly restaurants around the island:
LA PALOMA
Located in the quiet north of the island this stunning countryside restaurant is a family favourite one. The whole venue is a playground itself with plenty of spaces for kids to run wild among orange and lemon trees while you enjoy some delicious food. Top tip – make sure to book a table as the restaurant gets very busy no matter what time of the year you are coming.

CAN JAUME
Located on the family-friendly beach of Cala Vadella, Can Jaume is the perfect venue for a casual family lunch on the beach – with enough space to keep kids of all ages entertained. You can indulge in some delicious fresh seafood while your kids play safely on the beach.

EL CHIRINGUITO
Absolutely stunning beach restaurant in Es Cavallet. Fantastic food and drinks and wait for it – there is also a kids club! Supervised by a member of staff, in the shade and they also had their own supply of sunscreen just in case you forgot yours. With comfy sun-beds, this is the kind of place you can easily spend the whole day! Top tip – Book your table to be able to enjoy the valet parking. The car park gets very busy and ideally, you want to park as close to the beach as possible!.

PURA VIDA BEACH RESTAURANT
Amazing sandy beach, family friendly, clear waters and relaxed atmosphere. You had a choice of hiring a sun lounger or a double bed as long as you had lunch at the restaurant which is right on the beachfront. Great restaurant and service – try the Sea Bream! You can add the cost of the double beds to your lunch bill and pay on your card – very useful when you don’t have cash. The children’s menu is fantastic and they had very good kids club! Easy peasy lunch in the sun.

TANIT BEACH IBIZA
You will never expect a child-friendly beach restaurant in the vivid Playa D’en Bossa, but Tanit Ibiza is the ideal place for the whole family. For the little ones the restaurant features a fantastic pirate ship adventure playground and an entertaining kids clubs, for the adults the restaurant offers comfy lounge sunbeds perfect for relaxing, enjoying cocktails with beachside views and great music.
