In Ibiza all styles are permitted and celebrated – the more original and eclectic, the better. So it comes as no surprise that the island is a paradise for bargain hunters and thrift junkies. Despite being a small island, Ibiza boasts a great diversity of second-hand stores and flea markets. Here are some of them.

Probably Ibiza’s most iconic and best-known flea market. San Jordi Flea Market is a huge second-hand market where you can buy any type of thrift’s treasure – vintage furniture, jewelry, records and books, homeware, clothes and of course all the rare oddity in between. Located in the old Ibiza Hipodromo, this is a bargain hunter’s dream, open every Saturday from 9am to 3pm.

This successful vintage store is an island institution, a true vintage-lovers paradise! This shop has been around for a long time, the owner Vicente Hernandez, travels the world scouring markets for items to sell in his store, and also stocks his own designs, which are made in India.

This is a paradise of chic vintage right in the heart of Ibiza town. The store opened in the late 1970s and soon become a celebrity’s favourite. The shop has now also various outlets in Barcelona, they have a wide range of clothes and accessories of the highest quality, sourced from all over the world, and the store often lends clothes for magazine shoots and television productions.

Located on the road to the airport you will find the latest addition to the island’s second-hand shops. Mercatino Ibiza is part of a chain with stores all over Italy. In an open space of 400mq you will find any kind of item including second-hand furniture, home appliances, vintage clothes, records, books, toys and much more. Happy hunting!
