Passion Café

San Jose village. Passion Café’s concept is offering natural, wholesome food using the best quality ingredients. Carefully crafted with organic and locally-sourced produce, breakfasts and brunches here are colourful, Mediterranean flavours, healthy and delicious. One of a chain of cafes around the island created by healthy lifestyle promoter Lana Love, the San Jose venue is nice and cozy with beautiful, Spanish tiled interiors, and a great terrace next to the town’s church.

Capuccino

Situated in the chic Marina Ibiza just past Lio, with a stunning view of the old town and the harbour it is almost worth just being here for the view. The food is pretty good and the service, whilst attentive, can be rushed as there is a busy turnover here especially in the summer months. The best thing is to come with plenty of time and enjoy watching the mega yachts roll in with Ibiza old town in the background. More of a café and lunch spot than dinner.

Rita’s Cantina

San Anotnio. Fabulous Rita’s Cantina is one of the most popular places in the port of San Antonio, with the best brunch in the area. A beautiful café restaurant with quite a peculiar, yet delicious combination of different cuisines from all over the world. From shawarmas to bami goreng, everything is tasty, at reasonable prices.

Croissant Show

Dalt Vila. Low-key French café- patisserie where everyone pops in for a great coffee and an impressive range of pastries. Right next to Ibiza Town’s old market, this iconic place, known and loved for over 30 years, is where hippies, music lovers, locals and tourists are sitting next to each other, enjoying nice food and drinks and observing people passing by. Owner André Quidu is a mythical character on the island, where he arrived in 1979. A number of anecdotes have occurred in his café, some including celebrities.

Hostal Parque

Plaza del Parque. One of Ibiza town’s classic locations. It’s perfectly placed as a meet point with a large outside terrace on the side of Ibiza town’s second most famous plaza. A decent breakfast and lunch spot serving simple food.

Caprice

San Jose village. Excellent spacious cafe in the heart of the village, run by the charming Angelica. Great pastries, sweet and savoury, and a largely shaded terrace.

La Sardina Loca

Cala Carbo. The morning toasts are delicious, especially the brie fondant with smoked salmon, as well as the rustic ciabatta of tuna or jabugo. When it comes to tapas, you have to look at the suggestion board. There are usually fresh prawns, padrón peppers… Also an intensely flavored gazpacho with tomatoes from Ibiza, salads and pasta of the day, a superb house burger and, of course, the delicious, orange and rosemary marinated crazy sardines.
