The Best Restaurants in San José Ibiza

San Jose main road. Located on the main Ibiza road, 4km before San Jose village. It offers a tasty, modern menu which moves from Mediterranean to Asian dishes (and everything in between) with ease. It’s a real hit with families for a relaxed earlier sitting or for adults groups for a later sitting. It’s very close to the main road but don’t let that put you off as the Pais Vasco owners have managed to create a peaceful bamboo surrounded atmosphere on the spacious dining terraces – it’s also just a short drive from most of our villas. 

San Jose. Excellent local tapas on the island in a small bustling spot opposite the church. Well-priced and great guidance on the food from Claudio the amicable owner. A must visit for a relaxed dinner if you are staying nearby.

San Jose. Burst onto the village scene in 2020, this tiny street side restaurant comes highly recommended. It serves up delicious plates of Mediterranean food to savour whilst enjoying a glass of wine. The tables spill out onto the pavement guaranteeing a vibrant and fun atmosphere. The Angus Tagliata and sea bass ceviche are delicious.                        

San Jose. Raco Verd sits opposite the church in the centre of the village. It has a large and pretty patio which can easily be missed if you walk past on the street so make sure you poke your nose in to have a look – it’s a great spot. The bar / restaurant is laid back and family friendly. A mix of Spanish tapas and Mexican food is served up with lovely fruit juices and ice cream. Raco Verd changes its skin throughout the day from cafe to restaurant to a late night cocktail bar. Live music three times a week from local jazz, rock and flamenco bands give the place a special vibe. Excellently run by the British couple Sam and Claire Hedley.

Cala Tarida Road. A traditional Ibicencan restaurant serving up the quintessential bullit de peix fish dish. Locals stream in on Sundays so get ready for a long Spanish lunch that will continue way into the afternoon.  Don’t panic, they have a very nice large selection of wines to keep you going. The pulpo a la Gallega is excellent. 

San Jose. A stylish and beautifully decorated restaurant on the main street. The large shaded terrace is a great spot in the village for lunch or dinner. The menu is modern Mediterranean – great for adults and kids with lovely salads, sumptuous shawarmas (wraps), pizza and we love the grilled artichokes. You will be well looked after by Mari Paz and her attentive team.

San Jose. A tiny and tasty restaurant in the centre of the village, on the main high street. Blending fresh Peruvian and Asian cuisine and run by the amiable couple Marco and Stefi.
